[Pack Tactics] D&D 5e Optimizers talk about their Builds in Baldur's Gate 3!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjrJcr3MUiY

This is a group of 4 optimizers who hit level 5 and explain their builds.

(This video took place a month ago, so keep that in mind). 3 of the players used Withers to respec their characters.

Daniel: 4 Levels in Land Druid and 1 Level in Storm Sorcerer. Mostly focused on shapeshifiting into Spider and using Web. 1 Level in Sorcerer for Constitution Save Throws. And the Darkness Spell which he says "is really powerful in this game" and Alert Feat.

Kobold: Level 5 Beast Master Ranger with Extra Attack, Sharpshooter, Archery fighting style, Spike Shooter, Spider Summons for Web with plans to put 3 levels into Thief Rogue for another Bonus Action. (Or alternatively 2 Levels into Light Cleric AND THEN respec at Level 8 and put 3 Levels into Thief Rogue.) EDIT: Kobold is a Dragonborn

Evelyn: Drow Level 1 Light Cleric / Conjure Wizard X for infinite Warding Flare and for Bless / Sanctuary / Create Water. / Darkness / Gust of Wind/ Hideous Laughter and multiple Rituals such as: Enhance Leap / Longstrider / Feather Fall. (The Create Water is create wet surfaces similar to Web). Drows also get 1 Free Cast of Darkness per day and Hand Crossbow Profiency (to shoot an offhand hand crossbow for bonus action).

Narc: Half Drow Sword Bard X for Extra Attack at Level 6, Slashing Flourish at Level 5, Free Darkness Cast per Day, Shield Proficiency, and Faerie Fire.

The Party emphasizes ranged combat and constantly casting Web on the ground to make terrain difficult for enemies to cross. Additionally, the party noted how Darkness acts as a Full Cover for them and likes casting it (I don't know if this has been changed recently due to new patches).

If I'm missing information such as Race and Ability Score distribution, I apologize and I will have to research further.

I'm curious what you think about these builds.

i dont like the builds and to call it optimize seems a big clickbait.
1. alert feat for example is useless, just brew potion if u want the effect for more initiative or not surprised but i like colossol potion or giant pots more. if u just want con save proficency fighter would be better cuz more start hp, a free fighting style and second wind for extra heal aus bonus action. if he likes darkness he should go for warlock with devils eyes its op.

2. i dunno i dont like beastmaster at all, it was in real dnd5 weak and here too, i prefer the extra 1d8 from hunter if i have to play ranger and the free heavy armor profency. the multiclass choices arent fitting in the build, could be better stuff.

3. nice to have much rituals but whats optimized here? u dont need them. for story speak with dead (amulett from withers, warlock evocation etc) is fine and speak with animals (potion or spell), u can get it easier. for combat the build is far from optimize. if u wanna go handcrossbow u need to go like rogue thief + x (x= martial class u like like fighter or ranger).

4. bard is a fullcaster, dont waste class for martial stuff like 2 attacks, a monk can do like 400+ dmg in a turn later and in early its fine too for a better sustain. bard is rly good for story or support. good CCs nice buffs and debuffs. why would u waste it for stuff like extra attack?

overall it feels like they are not optimizers and dont even played the game to end. its more like a bad theorycraft and clickbait.
