Has anyone found a way to kill Mizora? (In Act 3)
I'm trying to work on something, but it is proving difficult.

You see, I figured out a few things:

#1. Any attack on Mizora causes her to vanish and take 0 damage. So direct damage doesn't seem to be the answer. Type doesn't matter either. She is a classic "invincible npc" type. Prime target for the Lord British Postulate.

#2. If I cast Phantasmal Killer on her and she fails the save (which she does, because I've got very high spell save DC), it causes her to keep vanishing over and over again for 10 turns. Okay, interesting result, but not helpful.

#3. If she vanishes, I can move an object like a crate or barrel into the place she was standing to displace her to a different position. Okay. Now we're getting somewhere.

#4. I can throw her. Throwing her causes her to disappear, but the animation takes place. And she tends to fall prone when she reappears, then disappears again. MORE INTERESTINGLY, I've noticed that she will temporarily reappear at the spot I have thrown her to sometimes...

SO... what I'm still trying to figure out how to try is a combination of parts 3 and 4.
If I can amass enough barrels to give her nowhere to stand and force her to move closer to the water, I might be able to throw her into the water (which is marked as instant death)... under the assumption that if she respawns IN the water, it should bypass her invincibility...
But I don't have enough barrels yet.

So... is there any known way to kill her, so I don't have to waste my time hunting every non-red crate or barrel in Baldur's Gate?

There is a way to kill her, and all the extras have been revealed in other posts, except the actual answer.
In Act 3? As in any way besides the pod at the end of Act 2?

Power Word: Kill.
Works well on most things.
Isn't that.... y'know.... not in the game? On account of the game capping at player level 12, and thus not getting up to the required levels to learn such a spell?

It is in the game.
I use it only on the worst of foes.

How? Where? Is there some means of bypassing the level cap that I don't know about?
This is a spoiler concerning the Dark Urge origin, so read at your own discretion;
In the Dark Urge playthrough you will kill Orin and, should you accept Bhaal's gift, you will learn the 9th-level spell. It is a one-time use and restricted to targets with <100 vitality.

Technically, all clerics get a choice of Dinvine Intervention options that are similar that's a one time use as well. One being a kill stuff, another giving a legendary healing every turn mace, etc.

You can abuse divine intervention too reclassing wither's husk companions to clerics and using it for each one(mace you need to have the character throw to the ground once made as its a bind) but you can reclass multiple times the same toons to get stuff. Its a 1 time per toon thing.

Also in the house of hope, you command hope and can have her use the ability too if she becomes a temp ally.

k so mizoras a devil yeah or a daemon . so when these things die in faerun they just respawn in hell / avernus you could kill her but she'd never die on faerun. let her get turned into a flayer and shell never come back wyll dies too though

Sounds a whole lot like Blizzard's Diablo, yes?
Demons or Devils that die in/on the material plane are resurrected in Hell.

Additionally, yes.

Technically you cant kill her outside of leaving her in the pod (and even that is probably not a true death). All devils on the material plane simply return to their plane in the hells (which is all explained when encountering the devil that aids either you or raph in the house of hope that you "killed" before). Killing them there (and why raph actually dies) in the hells does perm kill them.

I tried to do that, but I couldn't find a way to make Hope throw the mace down, so I didn't get to keep it. I did conjure it though.

Well, I've not managed to make any further progress in killing Mizora... but the petrification hasn't worn off, and she seems to be stuck T-posing in my camp.
I like her better this way.

Interesting consequence: She did NOT appear at the Iron Throne when I saved Wyll's father. I think she was meant to, but I just got spiders. I suspect making Mizora a statue stopped her from appearing.
I guess I'll have to wait until next playthrough to test whether I can kill her there or not.

This is the best thread from someone trying to kill a npc in all ways possible.

And this post wins.

Sex with a demoness?
Sound like more infernal legalese would be coming their way.

Killing her does nothing except getting Wyll killed.
What if Wyll is dead, you kill her, then resurrect dead Wyll? Or does her dying prevent you from resurrecting Wyll, even if she isn't the one that killed him?

Imagine having to send alimony payments to hell for a half-fiend.

That is worth testing, but applies exclusively to Act 2.
I'm not even sure if she is in the pod if Wyll isn't in the party, which is another thing worth considering.

She is indeed in the pod if Wyll isn't in the party that is present in the Mind Flayer Colony . I encountered her without him present. Now if he's dead, I don't know.

If she's stone, isn't she technically dead? In that, she is dead until someone unpetrifies her.

Wyll get his ass yeeted to the hells if you get Mizora killed in the pod during act 2. Cannot use revivify if there's no trace of him.

Something like that.
As I discovered first-hand, the game could not summon her to the Iron Throne when she was meant to be summoned there because she was petrified in my camp. It makes me wonder what other cutscenes could be permanently ruined by petrifying important characters.

In fact I should totally just play a Gorgon playthrough, cheat my way instantly to high enough level to cast Flesh-to-Stone, and just go about turning EVERYONE to stone to see what happens.

STILL... I'm planning on taking the cursed corpse out of Cazador's home as a Necromancer (I believe they get immunity to Necrotic damage) next playthrough and seeing if I can passively depopulate the Lower City.
