Has anyone found a way to kill Mizora? (In Act 3)
I'm trying to work on something, but it is proving difficult.

You see, I figured out a few things:

#1. Any attack on Mizora causes her to vanish and take 0 damage. So direct damage doesn't seem to be the answer. Type doesn't matter either. She is a classic "invincible npc" type. Prime target for the Lord British Postulate.

#2. If I cast Phantasmal Killer on her and she fails the save (which she does, because I've got very high spell save DC), it causes her to keep vanishing over and over again for 10 turns. Okay, interesting result, but not helpful.

#3. If she vanishes, I can move an object like a crate or barrel into the place she was standing to displace her to a different position. Okay. Now we're getting somewhere.

#4. I can throw her. Throwing her causes her to disappear, but the animation takes place. And she tends to fall prone when she reappears, then disappears again. MORE INTERESTINGLY, I've noticed that she will temporarily reappear at the spot I have thrown her to sometimes...

SO... what I'm still trying to figure out how to try is a combination of parts 3 and 4.
If I can amass enough barrels to give her nowhere to stand and force her to move closer to the water, I might be able to throw her into the water (which is marked as instant death)... under the assumption that if she respawns IN the water, it should bypass her invincibility...
But I don't have enough barrels yet.

So... is there any known way to kill her, so I don't have to waste my time hunting every non-red crate or barrel in Baldur's Gate?

Try polymorphing her, perhaps if that sticks you can kill the creature she is turned into without problems ?

Plan 3&4 fell through.
I put down so many barrels that I displaced her ALMOST far enough to throw her into the water in one shot... but not quite.... then she started spawning clipping through the topography...

I'll try the polymorph.

[Edit]: I did manage to polymorph her using Jaheira... but it started combat with Wyll, Lae'zell and the animals (how dare Scratch turn against me!) ...
I got the sheep down to the pier and threw it in the water, but it just respawned on the pier repeatedly until the polymorph ran out, and then Mizora respawned in her usual place (or as close as she could in the barrel maze).

I'm going to try out other spells now.

[Edit 2]: Hold Creature and Polymorph both cause temporary hostility in companions.

Curiously, Otto's Irresistable Dance works on her fine, quite amusingly. More importantly, Flesh to Stone works, though the statue is still invincible. Also I can shrink the statue. I can make a little stone Mizora. Not quite what I'm aiming for, but certainly amusing.
Banishment works, but only lasts 2 turns.

She turns up in the Iron Throne (on the sub) if you re-sign Wyll's pact after saving daddy. Since that's suppose to be her corporeal form I bet you could kill her there, would have to be quick about it since there is a timer and she might show up back a camp regardless, but worth looking into.

Hmm. That one is difficult. Not sure I'll be able to check that in my current playthrough since it isn't the route I'm taking...
Good to know though.

For now though I've got a stone Mizora in my camp.... whose tail is still moving...

I think the shrinking wore off...

Guess you gotta kill her in act 2 then

Killing her does nothing except getting Wyll killed.

This is the brand of insight that I subscribe to. Please do keep us informed of your continued experimentation.

I dragged Victora's corpse out of Cazador's mansion, got it back to camp, and dumped it next to the petrified (and now T-posing) Mizora. That can't damage her either, though it killed Scratch for going too close.... which is completely unacceptable, so I reloaded.
Another failure. Still trying though.

HOWEVER... this gives me another idea. Nobody seems to be aggroed by Victoria's corpse. I think on my Dark Urge playthrough I'll play as a Wizard Necromancer or something to get immunity to necrotic damage, then just carry Victoria's corpse everywhere with me as a mobile aura of death.

She'll show up even if you don't re-sign the pact to try (feebly) to hinder you.

would the anti magic flowers keep her from vanishing and reappering?

I had thought of that, but I don't have one. It never occurred to me to bring one from Act 1. I really should have. Something else for the next playthrough. I should bring one back to camp and leave it in the chest next time.

I DO have the remaining 3 petals from the flower I used to power the tower though. Not sure if I can do anything with those.

And if I decide to play a non-magic playthrough, I'll totally carry a bunch of the flowers everywhere with me.

Power Word: Kill.
Works well on most things.
Although it is a jewel spell.

Isn't that.... y'know.... not in the game? On account of the game capping at player level 12, and thus not getting up to the required levels to learn such a spell?

It is in the game.
I use it only on the worst of foes.

How? Where? Is there some means of bypassing the level cap that I don't know about?
