I dunno, two humans and a half-human is still pretty human-centric. Especially since Shadowheart is functionally just a human with pointy ears, for as much as her race comes up and matters. Hell, even Astarion feels very "human with pointy ears" since his Elf-ness doesn't come up either.
Shadowheart should have just been some dumpy Halfling, honestly.
I've started a multiplayer game by myself (using the second controller trick) just to have a halfling character in the party since I wasn't too keen on using hirelings as active party members.
How do you not hire Sir Fuzzalump. Best shorty hireling. Just that name
Tieflings are basically just the Hot Topic Emo Kid race, and I'm sick to death of them.
Or to put it another way, Tieflings are like an entire race of Drizzt (I'm sure some folk are old enough to remember the popularity of Drizzt clones in the AD&D days). All "woe is me I am a sexy devil with a dark and tragic past but I'm good really". That is their entire race feature... the same basic concept that brought us such delights as Twilight... and it is stupid.
I'm not fond of those dragon-people either. 4th edition stains right there. But at least nobody thinks the dragonfolk are sexy (well, some probably do, but not many).
Meanwhile I'm kinda glad that Githyanki are playable now... but Githzerai only barely getting a passing mention and Orpheus all but ripping off the Githzerai rebellion (including having monk bodyguards) is like a kick in the nads. I really wanted to play a Githzerai monk my first playthrough... but the game comes down pretty heavily on the entire notion.
I'll take any bg1/bg2, poe1/2, pathfinder king/WotR over the companions in bg3.
To me Bg3 companions just seem really annoying and I don't really care for them. Just need them for quests. Because companion guests us like 50% of bg3
Maybe she are a half + elf
You really created a whole new profile or renamed your burner just for this meme.
I'm not even mad.
Carry on.
Amigo came to raise mead and hell and is all out of mead.
