What level do you suggest fighting the Githyanki Patrol at bridge, Act-1
I was at Level 5 and got my butt handed to me.
Any hints,or experiences

Not everything has to be a fight but if that's your thing, unable to assist - I was never able to defeat them in the dozen times I played and couldn't avoid fighting.

4 or 5, it sucks no matter what, CC's are powerful as per always, or wasting low damaging moves to get their parry out of the way for the nukes

Odd. I had no issues with them. What kind of party composition do you have?

My MC is SorLockFtr with Astarion as Rogue/Ftr, Shadowheart pure Cleric, and LZ as pure Fighter. All have good ranged weapons. I am pretty sure I did this at Lvl 5 as I was trying to get to Lvl 6 before I stepped into Act 2.

Having Shadowheart Bless the entire party really, really helps. :)

level 5, if the fight is giving you a hard time respec into monk with 1 level of cleric.

Equip the best armor and shields you got, make sure take the tavern brawler feat, drink a potions of giants strength and laugh your butt off when your hitting with 1 character for about 45 damage while also tripping the enemy.

Its doable at 4, especially if you use the Ogre horn, but i generally wait until 5 to do it.

Did it at LVL 3, Command Disarm on two targets though only one sticks around. But I also used Fog and threw the Iron Flask in the middle of the Githyanki for some chaotic fun.

Huh. It never occurred to me to fight them. I've always had Lae'zel in my party, and they just tell her to "go search for the artifact".

Fight them? Why are you fighting them?

That part can be weird. You can roll successful deception on Voss and he still can detect it (notification shows up top left) and tell his soldiers to fight you for some reason.

Level 3 minimum

the higher the level the easier, naturally

My recommendation is any level, and by that I mean:
1. Raid the smokepowder room stash at the goblin fortress
2. When the combat starts, transfer a couple of the barrels to Lazel's inventory or whoever is closest to the strongest patrol members (the one's with the big swords)
3. Have them drop/move the barrels close/onto the enemies (free action) and get someone to explode them ASAP
4. Congrats you have now killed the patrol, you should probably revive whichever of your friends just got vaporized placing those barrels

Level 5, the extra attack is gonna help.

Just send one character to talk while others are on high ground. The person will definitely go down but the rest can fling attacks before they can reach the rest of the party. And you can gain a legendary by approaching the commander invisible and disarm him.

If you haven't killed Lump or have bargain for cooperation. The patrol is one of the best use for Lump.

Oh, to count the ways of marginalizing any and every encounter in the game. Roaring Thunder arrows, scrolls of Fireball, Hold Person, disarming via Battle Master, the Command spell, Lump's Horn, Tasha's Hideous Laughter, grease and ice surfaces, positional advantage via the bridge, possibly a certain flask from a locked chest, smokepowder barrels if you must; you can be level 6 by the time of encounter if you choose to put the mountain pass off as being the very last thing you do before entering Act II, meaning that you go through Grymforge first.

As far as the fight itself is concerned, disarming the patrol, holding them, casting fireball on them, and the like is a fair way to resolve the conflict. Depending on what you have found in your travels you should have some rare scrolls and useful elixirs stowed away. This is one of the only fights in all of Act I where I would suggest using your tools liberally if you are having a hard time of it.

I've never tried deceiving Voss. I just let Lae'zel do the talking, and it's no problem.
