the monk attack water whip can either knock prone or pull towards, maybe that's what it is
I only played warlock and fighter in EA. So it's weird I have this memory.
I mean, it might not be "fake", a conflation of two memories is commonplace and not at all "fake," just inaccurate. Also, there were weeks that a spell or power went in and then got changed a week or three later, and no mention was ever made of it in the notes.
I swear I had a mission where I got a tarnished ring and you could pass it around to people until someone passed an arcane check and it was revealed to be a "ring of protection +1" And that's why the tarnished ring shows up with a "magical" border in like 4 different spots in the game now, and there are absolutely ZERO rings of protection to be found anywhere except off Tiefling mission. Did I imagine that? Maybe!
No clue whether it was ever in BG3 EA and removed or not.
