did I do the whole Grymforge?

so, my second playthrough, I again have a feeling that I'm leaving something behind at Grymforge. It looks like the map is thoroughly explored, I already freed the gnomes and used the forge. Yet, there's that completely inaccessible area below and far away visible from the forge that looks like a Shaaran vault. Astarion even comments "some impressive ruins out there... completely out of reach". And then there's also the many mentions of devil presence at Grymforge, sometimes they say "the Merroghan leader might still be around", but I only found a single Merroghan with a few hell hounds in a room.

So, are those ruins really inaccessible, or did I miss something huge? and are there more devils around somewhere?

1. The Shaaran vauilt is just window dressing of the zone to give it a more spacious look. You dont actually enter the Sharan vault proper until you progress a bit in Act 2.

2. The one with the hounds is basically it per the reference.

As long as you got your desired adamantine pieces, killed grym, did your bits with the gnomes, killed the lava elemental and looted the little island there, and other assorted smaller activities, you're basically done there.
