Question about the sussur tree bark

why can't I interact or pickup the sussur tree bark? I see it on the tree but I can't grab it and even hovering over it doesn't highlight it.

Are you close to it? You need to go up the roots and pick it up. Maybe you are in a location from where you can't reach it, and that is why you can't pick it up?

Likely you havent picked up the quest or unlocked the lore items for it.

are you at the right tree?

there's a small one by the mage tower, but there's a MUCH bigger one in the northwest edge of the map. there's a specific spot you need to get it from by going up onto the branches.

Also, dont mix up the sussur blooms and the sussur bark.

my quest literally says "We found a sussur tree. Now we need to take some of its bark."

i can see the bark on the tree. I looked online for photos of the location and i'm right next to it.

yeah i see it on the tree itself. but there's no way to interact

you might have damaged it in the fight with the hook horrors, which i think means you cant take it, and counts as a fail, i could be wrong though

yeah it's not failed in my quest log. that was what I was thinking maybe I knocked it off but i think i still see it on the tree
