This happened to me but at the goblin camp. Has your friend had any other issues after you all left that area? Do just random NPC down the line start attacking?
That is what I'm worried about, I don't care if its just goblins at this point. That camp was NUKED and no one is left except the spiders that helped lol.
Grove didn't aggro me after and the NPCs I had already met in the under dark mushroom colony place haven't either but I stopped playing at that point.
Worried I get down the road and this thing just ruins my game
It did not happen anywhere else, just in Moonrise.
I decided to slaughter everyone there before I actually assaulted the towers for real.
I set Lae'zel and Karlach up, entered turn mode, dropped 2 fog clouds, and had both guards shoved in the water. No witnesses, no dialog, no combat. I walked down the dock and talked to the guy guarding the tadpole barrel, no issues. Then a random guard that was even further down the dock walks up and the narrator tells me I have caused to much trouble or whatever and can't talk my way out this time... And I'm like, how?! This random guard didn't see anything, and I didn't have any of the -rep, "witness" crap, or dialog when you get caught pop up...
On a side note, if you try to use Minthara here, but disgusted
It's kinda buggy. I had her disguised as a different person but she got spotted by a guard at one point. The weird part is I was able to talk to guards, traders, even Z'rell, but this one other lone guard saw through me like I was carrying a sign stating who I was and why that should matter... It didn't make sense. Especially since disguise self essentially works like true polymorph in this game..
