My party is level 5 near the end of Act 1 and I have two objectives left, should I go to the creche or visit auntie ethel?

I just want to know which would be harder so I can tackle it last. Should I head to the sunny swamp or go meet a dragon?

You can take a detour into Underdark and/or Mountain Pass Monastery and pick up Lvl 6 if you wish and have not been there yet. :)

I think I've done all of the underdark except the forge. I guess that's a third option?

Go to the swamp and finish that out, then go to dragon, then go to the forge

I was level 7 before leaving Act 1. Not that you asked about it, but there should be plenty left to do (and some undiscovered perhaps) should you feel inclined to stick around.

Indeed it is. Just don't take the elevator to Act 2.

Have you done the Monastery in MP yet? Just don't go down the road to Act 2. :)

Personally I did Auntie Ethel at level 4, IIRC

It was pretty darn tough, but doable. Even managed to burst her down towards the end such that I completely missed out on the Hag's Hair offer. Read about it after... xD

Swamp should be pretty easy for you. I went there a fair bit earlier (it was the first place I found the entrance to the underdark from) so you should breeze through it I imagine.

I would go for Ethel first, i was able to obliterate her even with level 4 party. It helps alot against her clones if you have psionic backlash ability on some of your characters.

Thanks everyone! Consensus seems to be swamp first, then the monastery, then the forge.

Looks like I'm headed to the sunny swamp again (that shadow druid quest fight was really really hard guys).

You dont fight the dragon, just a group of goons if you fail a deception check.
But visit the swamp, fairly easy.

You're not at the end of Act 1. Far from it by the context of what you're saying.

Above ground from the Creche, the creche, under the creche, underdark, grymforge, ethel's teahouse, spider area under blighted village, necro area under the blighted village and all manner of other subzone content between. All that's done then yeah sure you've done all in Act 1 and could go on to the shadow cursed lands. Or you can skip it all and go to the shadow cursed lands but that's alot of missed content gear and even more.

Something ive observed is that a lot of people doesnt catch onto that you can go BOTH Underdark and Mountain Pass, thinking you have to choose one for the run. Often getting scared away from the Mountain pass by the Gith patrol.

Succeeding a dialogue check can get you past the Gith patrol completely unmollested.

Well speaking for myself, I didn't realize there was a difference between the Underdark and the Shadowlands ... for some reason I thought they were the same thing for a while!
