New AMD driver probably broke the game

I updated yesterday the new amd driver.
Since then the game either doesnt get past the loading screen or it goes to the main menu with a black screen while I have sound.
I formatted the whole PC yesterday and just installed the game and it is still the same.
Not only that but when I click stop from steam it never turns off.
Furthermore, if I use DX11 then the game runs with 10fps.
What gives? First time this happened and it was after the new amd update.

1) Download the Display Driver Uninstaller
2) Exclude it in your firewall
3) Run Windows on Safe Mode
4) Run the program and choose amd and wipe clean all drivers (it will do it automatically)
5) Go back to normal mode and download from the amd site the 23.9.1 drivers .

This is what i have done and it works fine now. Apparently many people have reported that the last driver was for the new cyberpunk content and it broke a lot of games including bg3.

Thank you. Yes don't update. I read that they rushed the drivers for cyberpunk and it's kinda broken for mostly the 6000s cards. But since 23.9.1 works fine no reason for update

No reason for not playing with the 6800. Just don't install the 23.9.3 update . It will be fine with the previous drivers !

I've heard a few people say that the AMD processor plus and AMD card can cause bugs. I have an AMD Rt6700 but an Intel i7-11700K and not having the same problems. I forget exactly what and a quick search doesn't bring it up but there was a setting in the Adrenaline software that you could change that helped. I remember seeing it on these forums.

I updated to a 7800XT from a 5700XT this week. The new card performs worse than the old one.
