Astarion quest (Spoilers)

I dont know how but Astarion never asked for ascension at the end of his quest. I never romanced him nor befriended him in anyway. His relationship with me was only fair. I wonder if those were the factors

You didn't grab the black mass scroll in the room before the ritual chamber

When does Astarion ask for anything? Even with a good relation you need to convince him not to do it.

If you killed one of the ritual slaves during the battle, the ascencion is uncompleteable and will never come up as a possibility for Astarion. Cazador will shriek about it when one is popped.

If you grab black mass scroll, he asks you to help him carve runes in cazador's back. Obviously if you don't know how the ritual works you can't try to ascend, hence why OP astarion never ask to help him ascend

Ah thanks for the feedback, guys. Really appreciated. Yeah I think I accidentally killed a ritual spawn and I didnt get the scroll. If I remember correctly, I failed the check on that skull hence I never got it.
