Game is confused about Marcus [spoilers?]

So i met isobel and killed marcus to save her. Fast forward few days and when i talked to the lady with white hair she spoke of markus as if he was alive and ally, then i got option to convince her that he is dangerous to which she replied that he is upstairs and i should keep him busy until she brings few loyal harpers.

Note i never met marcus before killing him, but he was dead for days now. Is the game confused about the events? was it possible to meet him before and snitch on him to Jaheira?

There is an alternative way to meet Marcus from what I know of. Spoilers ahead.

If you massacre the grove and there's no one left to "vouch" for you to Jaheira when you first meet her, it's possible for Marcus to be the one to vouch for you as he senses you have a tadpole and are a "true soul". He will communicate with you and conjure up some story to Jaheira. You can, in that moment, choose to rat him out to Jaheira for being a false Fist or you can play along with his plan.

I'm imagining the game, for some reason, is bugging and thinking the aforementioned in the spoiler happened as opposed to what you actually chose/done. That's just my guess though!

Thanks that explains it, its definitely a bug... things get buggier and buggier the longer i play :D
