2nd player not getting romance scene? Please help.
I am playing with a friend. They are romancing Karlach. During the party their character confessed their feelings for her and Karlach accepted saying come see me tonight after everyone goes to bed. I also got a scene with a different character but after we went to bed, my scene played out and their's never happened at all.

TO ANYONE HAVING THIS ISSUE, I FOUND THE SOLUTION:
If player 1 is controlling the character player 2 wants to romance, then player 2 won't get any scenes! Player 2 has to be controlling the character they are trying to get a scene for.

Oh yeah was just going to mention that too, characters that are in 1 players party are tethered to them for plot stuff. If they are in the other characters party or just standing in camp player 2 can do stuff.

There's an option to show your secret scenes to other players or not, I don't really treat the game as a dating simulator, but I assume the problem you are running into is the game treating sex scenes as secret scenes?

No this is completely unrelated. My friend is not getting a scene at all for them. With that turned on they can see mine, then we wake up. With it turned off I see mine and they just see everyone sleeping, then we wake up. THEY are not getting THEIR scene.

Try resting again and have them initiate the rest maybe. When you do multiplayer I've noticed the way the game treats one character as THE main character and it gets confused when there are 2 main characters in multiplayer.

oh, well to be fair since its content I'm not interested in I never explored it.
Sounds like it might be some kind of multiplayer bug then.

It doesn't work, we tried that. This is specifically the scene you can get during the party for saving the tieflings and the druids.

Call me crazy, but if you had your chosen partners why weren't you controlling the person you want to get down with from the start?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I was controlling both companions because we had just respeced Karlach in to a paladin and I was setting up all the stats for it. Had forgotten to give them control again after so I had control of both companion npcs.
