double damage magic missile?

Gales magic missile is doing double the normal damage, hitting for 9s and 10s constantly, is this a bug? I've checked all of his equipment and besides the pendant that gives him an addtional magic missile, he doesnt have anything that adds his INT to damage.

has anyone else noticed this? Its awesome dont get me wrong, a level 1 hits for 30-40 damage, but its a bit overpowered

Is your Gale a level 10 Evocation Wizard?

They get an ability called Empowered Evocation that adds INT modifier to Evocation spells.

oh okay that makes sense, I must not of read that passive when he leveled up.

Now go combine that with an item that also lets you add your spell modifier to spell damage...

And there's probably even more you can do to boost it.
