Why the 1 in Tempest Cleric?
Personally though you might be better served by going Light Cleric to 6 or 7 and going with a radiant orb build. But that's more of a tank and support build.
Had lots of fun without sorc. Especially when you get Nyrulna
So have you gotten wrath of the storm to work at all?
Can't remember if it happened every time I got hit though, but it definetely worked for me (even though i think it missed most of the times)
How were your reactions setup in your spell book? I'm keenly interested in making that class feature actually work in a "thorns" style build.
I could be wrong on this though as I am basing my assessment on D&D rules and not sure if that is exactly how Larian have implemented it in the game.
But I did google a bit and it seems like its a common issue. Some are saying that you should "disable" and "enable" it again and it would help.
Can't really test that but yeah, people say it works
Damn, same setup I have. I even have opportunity attack turned off outright to make sure I don't waste reactions but it still never triggers.
The most popular multiclasses for paladin, I have seen is Warlock for extra attack, edlitich blast ranged attack, and another extra attack (which I have to imagine is going to be fixed one of these days in a patch), short rest smite slots, also having your cha being the main stat.. Sorcerer, you get meta magic, more smite slots, and some utility.. Fighter 3 or 4 for battlemaster or champion.. battlemaster adds more options, another way to gain advantage attacks, and champion for a increased crit range.
Barbarian is another one I have seen, though I don't think its worth it. You can pick up resistances with either warding spell or a item late in the game.. Or a elixir for a brief time if you desperately need it.. And the damage increase isn't that big imo.
Neither is worth it.
