steam cloud error

Is anyone else getting this? Usually, when I see it, I just click on the "unable to sync" button and hit "retry", and it goes away. This time though, it isn't going away. How come?

The save files can be quite large. I've disabled cloud saves for this game. Not sure if there's a work around.

Same for me, which is why i waded into this cesspool. It looks like maybe they lowered the amount of data BG3 can use or something. even after deleting all my saves from my main campaign it still says i'm over the limit.

Yes I was playing last night, and patch had downloaded in background and was unable to sync.
I thought I would just try today (or later today as I stopped playing early this am) and I am still getting the error.

I am using the party begone mod and have noticed that since the big patch (Mac and other improvements) my rolls in game have been very poor (low end of the D20 scale with the same number being rolled right after each other (ie roll a 4 then roll a 4 again) and often rolling low 3-5 times in a row), also trouble moving through doorways (I turn my camera so I see both sides of room and am able to move through vs just shutting the door) as well as some other minor things.

I cannot sync my files to cloud. enabled both devices with cross share and just keeps saying error on sync.

Well, I seem to have fixed the problem. I'd just happened to have beaten the game for the first time, last night, so I decided to delete my first character's entire campaign - along with another Gale origin campaign which I was putting on hold. (I'll start over with him some other time, maybe after I've finished and deleted one of my other characters'.)

I was able to sync earlier but I had a series of rolls (about 6-8) all under 8 with double 4's and during some battles the enemies rolled very well vs me rolling poorly.

Most likely temporary server congestion.

My BG3 savegame file was 12 GB big i disabled all Cloud saves because it overload everything

No reason to go around necroing every thread mentioning steam cloud mate.
