Lae'zel - she favors ruthless decisions and doesn't really care about helping anyone.
Regarding Gale - it does make sense since he is a very egoistical dude despite the facade he presents outwardly. Hell, if you raid the grove he basically blames you for having a bad influence on him.
Well, that is already an issue having Shadowheart on an Evil playthrough, the whole slaughtering of the emerald grove. lol!
As for Gale, I just feel like his general demeanour and what he approves/disapproves doesn't sync with that side of him. I feel the same about Astarion, who disapproves of stuff that makes him come across as a massive hypocrite, although he only is one if you do the "bad" thing in Act 3. Are we just to assume they are both pretending to be people they are not?
Lae'zel will die at camp to Shadowheart. Evil let's her do it.
Keep in mind this depends on how "evil" you are. If you go full muderhobo, then none of these will be an option (since you'll just kill them). If you're smart, though, you can have all of these.
Gale, on the other hand, is really hypocritical with his holier-than-thou attitude not matching his own actions constantly. He also does not care about the consequences of his actions and tries to switch responsibility. The whole sphere of annihilation debacle, the aforementioned "you have bad influence on me, so I took part in the bad things" talk after the grove raid, the nuke option out of which he tries to worm his way out on the first occasion and finally, he is all about trying to meddle with the doomsday Netherese artifact again in the ending:)
