As far as i know, Larian studio is not publicly trading company. So i don't know how Tencent acquires 30% of private owned company.

I do think its always a concern, We have seen what Disney does to "please" Chinese audiences with frivolous things in movie scenes and advertisment. I only know Tencent is just slimy business wise not against interracial couplings in Star Wars movies.

As long as they do not own majority stake, i do not care... they are an investor, one of many, not an owner.

Unless i find out that there is Chinese spyware running in BG3 code, then i do not care.

Chinese people mostly like mobile games and competitive multiplayer ones like DOTA, not BG3.
