How to stop concentrating on spells

So here's one thing I haven't been able to figure out. If I cast an area spell that requires concentration, such as Cloud of Daggers or Hunger of Hadar, how do I stop concentrating on it if I want it to stop? Sometimes these area effects are in the way, and they last long after combat, so I'm guessing there must be a way to interrupt them on purpose...?

Down in the bottom left below your portrait will be an icon for the spell with a little x on it that you can click to turn it off.

Lae'zel can hit your face with a big sword until you lose concentration.

There’s a little circle on your portrait with an X on it in the bottom left you can cancel the concentration

Little X mark below the character portrait, or, if played with a controller, you can hold the triangle (if I recall it correctly) on the radial spell/skill menu.
