FINALLY figured out equipment slots

I have 120 hours in the game so far and just started act 2. Needless to say, I've been taking my time. One thing that always bothered me is that there were 3 character slots that were always empty and no merchants seemed to ever carry items for those slots. It was driving me mad! One by one I uncovered them, though.

First, I multiclassed my female elf warlock into bard and saw the one in the lower right was an instrument slot. I've carried around lutes and stuff, but had never attempted to equip them since nobody was proficient. No sense in listening to Lae'zel butchering "Down by the river".

Second, I finally came across cloaks in the beginning of act 2. It seems there really aren't any in act 1 unless you count the DLC cloak. I own the DLC but never equipped any of the items except for the disguise helmet. There wasn't a desire to put on a cloak with no stats for reasons I'll get to shortly.

Lastly, there was the equipment slot in the center on the left. It was empty on all four characters. I right clicked on that slot with each party member to see if any of them had anything in their inventories to equip there. Main character? Nope. Shadowheart? No, nothing. Karlach? Bingo!

It turns out everyone used to have equipment there at the start of the game, but I removed it for *ahem* lore reasons. It's the underwear slot. My skyclad warrior women have had no need for it on their journey to make things socially awkward for every NPC they meet, especially after I found the "hide armor" toggle on the top right. On a related note, I have no idea what any of the armor in this game looks like. I've heard it's nice.

There is one early cloak if you play the dark urge and its incredibly powerful. Gain invisibility for 2 turns after you kill something.
