I have just grabbed the longsword Phalar Aluve at level 3

If anyone wants to play with a longsword and get this nice sword early on, here is how you do it:

Go kill the phase spider boss which you can find beneath the blighted village and then use feather fall at the deep hole where your companions comment on how they are curious what is down there.

There is even an extra cutscene for this showing you gliding down and the best thing is you are just around the corner of the the sword. You only have to sneak past the minotaurs and there will also be this bullete monster that diggs beneath you but it shouldn´t notice your group the first time if you all sneak.

You can then sneak to the sword and get it but be warned, if you stay longer down there and sneak around thinking you can reach a waystone this doesn´t work because the bullette monster will reappear and attack your group so grab the sword and fast-travel back out of the underdark.

Just wanted to share this for those who like longswords.

It's not just a Longsword.

When singing it either has detriment to foes, or bonus to all allies(within 6m). It does a 1d4 Thunder damage to all affected enemies.

Shadowheart has it at Lvl 11, and she's not even proficient with it.

then you can probably do it at 2 if you just solo a rogue (leave the rest of the group standing somewhere, you don't have to main a rogue and solo) and cunning dash past the spiders to take a running jump... 2 because I think you gonna get to 2 before this no matter how hard you try not to.

I went to get it through goblin camp. Sneak through Gut's room, passed Persuasion check with the troll and went down to Underdark and to Selunite outpost. No fighting necessary at all.

Yes that´s why I tried if I can kind of speedrun it since it is amazing. I´m really happy that this worked so well

Yes that´s how I wanted to try it at first but then I remembered how someone, I think on reddit, mentioned that you can actually jump down this hole with featherfall so I wanted to try it myself =)

Another thing with this, is that you get set the singing going, then swap it out for a different weapon - like Blood of Lythander - and the effect still continues.

Hah! Nice :) One thing I learned is that chatter matters, it really pays to pay attention to the random things the companions are saying. It's rarely by accident if they make a remark on something.

It´s a finesse weapon so it uses either strength or dex depending on which stat is higher.

yeah i know that but what do you get out of 12 str? instead of having 16 in wisdom and 15 in con. extra jump range i guess?

I don´t know I just took what the game suggested for this character but jump range is always nice to have. I once tried a character with 8 strength and it was awful lol.
