Jack-of-all-trades bug?

Just completed the game as one of every class without respeccing like it requires. The game isn't recognizing it upon completion. and ive tried reloading a couple times to no avail. Anyone else have similar issues?

Nope.
At level 12 I put a compagnion that wasn't used before in the party and picked another class each level up. The achievement popped immediately. Finishing the game is not required.

ill reload a save and try that with Wyll. Never seemed to use the poor fella

You don't actually have to finish the game. You can use a hireling or underused character too. Once you hit level 12 and then do the multi-class it should pop.

When you say 1 of every class... how are you actually doing it? You're understanding they mean multiclassing one character into level 1 of every class right?

yea im stoned af and just phrased it wrong. i multiclassed my Tav from the start

Curious, can you still get the achievement if you used Withers to respec any character at all? Or are you still good if the character being used for the achievement hasn't respecced?

Just as a check, when you look at your characters sheet, it shows all 12 classes listed and all are marked as '1'?

Yes it works. Easiest way is to wait until hitting level 12 before getting Minsc and levelling him up to get the achievement.

Did you become an Oathbreaker Paladin? That legally counts as "asking Withers to change your character," even though it doesn't involve Withers at all.

Ah! that must have been it. I ended up loading a save and used Wyll since i never leveled him up to get the achievement. Didn't feel dirty because i legit completed the game from level 1 on my Tav that way. 10/10 would recommend, but save paladin lol for last I guess unless you can adhere to your oath.
