Druid vs wizard?
Which of these classes get more out of the game?
As in unique dialog, combat, finding secrets, etc.

There's almost no real difference (*in terms of usefulness). Wizard's a better casting class per long-rest, Druid's got some decent melee options.

Wizard's arguably better between the two.

Haven't played wizard but Druid's got a ton of main story relevance. The first 2 acts have druid factions that you can interact with alot

The game gives you one Wizard companion and two Druid companions (although you get the Druids kind of late). But with respec costing 100g, any character can be any class you want.

Druids have WIS as a main stat, WIS is used for Insight, Perception and Survival; basically, it's the stat for finding hidden stuff. Wizards have INT as a main stat and they're the only class that uses INT, it's used for Arcana, History, Religion and Investigation; it mostly provides additional information in conversations, but there are a couple of places where a skill check offers a lower DC than a persuasion or intimidation check.

Because Wizards learn spells from scrolls if they multiclass they can still learn higher level spells. E.g. a Wizard 6/Bard 6 can still learn and cast level 6 Wizard spells. There are a couple of unique spells a Wizard can learn from scrolls in act 3 that are pretty good.

However, Sorcerers>Wizards and Druids.

Wendigo has the absolute right answer. with one caveat.

Sorcerers indeed > Wizard and Druid,

But Bard > Sorcerer > Wizard and Druid.

If you want most out of the game, you need a Charisma based class, and that is Bard moreso than a Sorcerer, with potential Expertise for Persuasion/Deception/Intimidation.

On top of that Bards get Jack of All Trades making them a little bit better at everything else.
Sorlock.

he forgot to say you need int for them to cast that has it's drawbacks cos they are the only casters that use int.

he forgot to say you need int for them to cast so your stuck with buff spells or with int 17 and one less head item slot... :)
Thanks.
