Does Gloomstalker Dread Ambusher extra attack stack with Haste?

That attack is independent of both actions and bonus actions and only available the first turn of combat. The answer is no.

I see; thanks! I found online that Dread Ambusher stacks with Action Surge, but couldn't find the answer for Haste, so I was curious.

Dread Ambusher only functions the first turn. So with that, action surge, bloodlust elixer, haste, and potion of speed you can make 8 attacks on turn one at level 7. If your enemies are surprised you can theoretically get 15 attacks in before they can even react... which can all be critical hits if you multi-class as assassin as well.

My current run I'm doing gloomstalker/assassin/fighter and it's insane the damage you can deal.

Yeah, that's the appeal of the approach. I think I will do Vengeance Paladin/Gloomstalker Ranger/regular Fighter (just 2 levels for Action Surge) for MC and EK Fighter/Gloomstalker Ranger for Laz'iel this run.

Wait; I am looking at your calculation, and 8 attacks only? So I guess Dread Ambusher does not stack with Action Surge either? Damn, I guess my online source was mistaken.

Yes, turn one should be 8 attacks. Action surge only functions for actions and DA is not an action but a special status that just lets you have a free attack.

*bloodlust +1 ( if you manage a kill )
*haste +1
*potion of speed + 1

then you may also be able to make an offhand attack as a bonus action if you're dual wielding but im not sure.

The extra bonus action is reeeeeeally good for Dash (with lightning charge boots), or Hide (for sneak attack) or Hunters mark every turn

I think potion of speed gives you haste. I don’t think it stacks with haste. Idk tho

I see. Also, doesn't Potion of Speed give you Haste? Further, shouldn't Potion of Speed or Haste give you 2 extra attacks, because the base 5 plus level Ranger or Fighter has 2 attacks?

Bloodlust Elixir enables up to 2 extra attacks in a turn when hasted (obviously only when successfully killing something).

2 Hand Crossbows enable 2 bonus action attacks as well. This requires 3 levels of Thief, of course.

So the numbers discussed above increase. Oh, and the Haste spell and the Potion of Speed do the same, so only one of the two accounts for the number of attacks.
