Second option is a warlock -pact of the blade. A perfect fit would have been a hexblade, but that subclass is not in the game so pact of the blade is a compromise I guess.
The paladin subclasses get their Aura at level 7 and the better ones belong to Ancients (defensive) or Oathbreaker (offensive). You can also shave 2 levels off Paladin and skip the Aura for 2 levels in Fighter for Action Surge.
If that's too cheesy for you 9 Vengeance gets Haste and then you could go 3 in Warlock for Pact of the Blade still (being able to dump Str is really strong).
The other two Charisma classes are good too.
Sorcadin (Paladin 6 / Sorcerer 6) gets a lot more spells slots to smite with and can up cast spells to 5th level. Paladin is light on reactions so being able to cast Shield and Counterspell is great.
Swords Bard could take two levels in Paladin to start smiting.
Instead of paladin 7 warlock 5, why not paladin 5, warlock 5 and warrior 2?
You'll get both extra attacks anyway, plus action surge and a second combat style (so you can go two hands plus defense or dueling plus defense)
As a Vengeance Paladin go 5 lvl. As for the other 2 Paladins, the aura does actually have an effect so take those 2 up to 7. Otherwise I'd go 5, if Vengeance. Imo
