Scratch didnt give me ball?
So he has given me a pair of shoes, bones, a healing potion, but no ball? We are in act 3 now, is it a bug? I swear he gave me his ball way earlier in the first playthrough I had

He gives you the ball before anything else. Check your inventory and bags. It is also possible to sell it and it does NOT have the orange outline.

I never got the ball dialoge and he never showed up in my hotbar, it just skipped right to the other items. I've been waiting for that ball, I havent sold any balls

Yeah, unfortunately for you, you probably sold it to some random vendor without realizing it.

Maybe you've chosen wrong rolls in the first interaction and let him keep it.

Well, I suppose anything is possible. It's never happened to me. The ball is always the first thing he tries to give to you.

Its so easy to accidentally sell. Once it didnt even have a name, only difference being a green action setting it apart from other balls.

No, I never got the dialoge, I have played it before and gotten it as the first one, this time the first one was a salami I think

I havent accidentally sold it, i never got the ball dialoge and he never showed up in my hotbar

I don't see how that is possible. He wanders around camp with the ball in his mouth until you speak with him about it and either convince him to drop it or not.

Unless you are using Mods, of course. Then anything is possible.

Look under common, an ability to summon scratch should be there.

Don't bother, people will assume you're the problem. I had a similar issue, where Scratch wouldn't give me the ball when he was supposed to. Thankfully, a few long rests solved the issue. In your case, it seems like you're just screwed.

EDIT: If your save is from before the update where Scratch's Ball became the item required to summon him, this is an issue caused by said update. I had the same problem.

No mods. He has just walked around with a salami, a bone, sandals and a healing potion. No ball and no hotbar option so I know I havent accidentally sold it.

The game has been filled with bugs for me since the last update so I guess its just another one to add to the list

Thank you for being a voice of reason, feel like I'm talking to a wall here with the other people. That sucks a lot, but at least he is in my camp.
