And why Gale is in the party? You should have his hand in inventory instead
Laz would fit better since she likes the violent solutions
My main can be whatever I feel like: Monk, Bard, Sorcerer/ warlock , Sharpshooter fighter etc.
The default dark urge is sorcerer and as I lose wyll as the warlock , Sorcerer / warlock feels right in my team. High charisma , dark magic skills, utility and magic powers coming from my bloodline which is Bhaals family . Fits thematically as well.
i definitely rushed through a bit so yeah im struggling hard on act 3. having to cheese the game pretty hard to get through.
as for gale. honestly, as much as i wanted his hand(maybe useful for bhaal in act 3, and simply because im killing everything anyway); ive never run gales storyline through so i wanted to dive into it a bit. that and gale as an oathbreaker paladin is pretty badass.
on the subject of the rogue class. i still cant seem to decide between thief for the bonus action hiding, or assassin for the surprise crits. obviously its fairly situational, but with my current party comp, my assassin rogue isnt getting to utilize his full potential.
also gale as an oathbreaker is fun. but hes 100% useless trash in every fight lol. hes basically cannon fodder to hold agro while i position properly and look for tricks. minthara is an absolute unit though. holds it down.
(main tactic act3 as a level 7 has been to keep astarion ready to flee from any fight when and if necessary. then simply have withers res my party and jump back in. really cheesy way to beat the game..)
edit: and obviously ive stockpiled plenty of explosives for when the time comes and i must wreak absolute havok on all of baldurs gate.
