The sex is cringe
First of all let me say i love this game. Ive put over 200 hours into it and think its a pure masterpiece despite the sometimes annoying little bugs.

But the sex parts are just cringe and a bit rediculous honestly. Every effing character wants to F you. Thats just dumb. And apart from being dumb its kinda annoying. I dont want to be asked to sleep or start a relationship and have this conversation with everyone, its just tiresome. They should have instead made it so, that i have to initiate the thopic. So i can have this conversation with those characters i want to have it with.

Just a small vent. This aspect of the game just stressed me out quite a bit.

If I had to describe this game in two words, they would be “aggressively bisexual.”

Still, I’m in agreement with you, OP - it’s a fantastic game despite the pandering to the hopeless romantics.

Outside of the earlier Gale bug, I have found it to be at most one line, and then it's never brought up again by the specific npcs. Have played 160 hours and maybe 3 seconds to say no thanks to each npc.

I am convinced 90% of these people have not actually played the game, because I have not found this to be nearly as prevalent as I was led to believe when I first started playing.
If you already played the game or read spoilers then you would know and say “no” when npc asks.

If you never played the game and a male npc offered to show you some magic or dance , then you would probably be curious and think that’s all there is to it, or that this is some kind of a storyline event and would say “yes”.

And then you will be in an awkward spot where you can talk to Gale until the rest of the game “about the night we spend together “

Honestly these events should never trigger at all unless the main character purposely flirts with them to avoid confusion. Most of these offers comes out of the blue and aren’t obvious for the casual player.

Yes until a VERY OBVIOUS POINT COMES UP and you have TWO VERY CLEAR RESPONSES that let you say no. And that's the end of it.

Its not that it is repeated pestering, but the fact that its EVERY companion (and more) and they are so blatant about it. It just feels unrealistic that everyone you meet is literally dripping with lust for you.
When you think about it, these are people you just met and you all found out that you have a near 100% chance of dying at best or at worst being turned into a mind flayer slave to an evil "god". You are traveling and fighting together and as you go on finding out that not only are you in danger but the entire world is in danger of being destroyed or at least every living person enslaved.

No one knows how much time they have left so why not try to hook up before you lose all your parts?

But even then not everyone would be that randy and even if they were not everyone would be so blatant about it.

For Laezel (alien culture) and Asterion (massive slut) it makes sense, but for the rest of them it IS totally cringe.

That point shouldn’t come at all to begin with. Not unless you have made a move on them first.
It’s goofy and unrealistic and puts you in a spot where you realize the npc only invited you because they are gay and want to hook up with you. Not beycase they care about you and want to actually help you learn magic or dance, no they just invite you as a trick to try hook up with you. That’s the problem
The sex is cringEY, I agree ("cringe" is a noun or a verb, not an adjective and I hate that term - sorry, yes, I'm pedantic that way), but it's also minuscule to the point of almost nonexistence. It bothers me that it's such a sticking point, when the total amount of game it takes up is probably .00001%.

Ah yes sex I always do this. Every day in my real life. I know this is exactly how people interact with each other in real life cuz I do the same every day too.

You do realize they all will hit on you no matter what gender as well, right? And so your primary issue is that the NPCs make a move on you first? That's it?

For real, that's why I'm so confused. Out of the many hours of dialogue most characters have, a small fraction is romance related at all.
This could so easily be fixed if they gave the initiative on forming such bonds to the player.

Uh they did already.

What’s cringe is that all of them are so horny and want to bang you but then you can’t bang most of them until like much later like Act3 and once you do they never want to hook up with you again and don’t even want to sleep next to you lol 😆

Welcome to hook-up culture. Pretty realistic.
It's pretty obvious when they're flirting with you. And you can just say no to them all, and they actually respect that choice.

Roll for sexitiative!
