You know, the usual stuff people use ropes for.
In all seriousness, I did actually keep some around on my first playthrough, along with a lot of other totally useless ♥♥♥♥, as I thought this might be the kind of retro 80s game that expects you to combine items to MacGyver your way into or out of certain situations.
Haha, so did I. As soon as I found the shovel, and that you could dig chests up, I kept a hammer, pickax, rope, shears, etc on me. Now they sit in a box in my camp, and are my RP camp tools.
this is the by far the best option
In game? Nothing.
It's not used for anything in BG3...
Its classic Larian Humor.
But you get hinted very early that its useless when you see your characters in full plate Armor climb 90 degree rocks like Lara Croft in 1996 video game.
60$ game hahah
knowing about this just now makes this game about like 40% worse :D
If your opinion of a game hinges on rope, I don't even know what to say, lol.
