To be fair, all the other patches came out extremely quickly. Most games wouldn't even have a third major patch by this point.

They most likely take their time and test it all thoroughly since there is nothing worse than breaking more than they fix.

Seems like they're taking their time with this patch. Better to get things right. Will probably be a massive one. Will probably be out within a week.

On SteamDB, patch #4 appears to be being actively playtested now. I have a strong feeling it's going to drop at the same time as the XBox port (quite soon).

I don't know. I ran into too many bugs, gave up on my playthrough. The bugs didn't stop me from finishing, I just didn't want to continue with the bugs. Hoping patch 4 is huge and fixes most of them.

Lol the game is far from done in terms of patches. There's hella crashing still, multiple frame drops, memory leak still exists, people are still having trouble with deluxe edition working when the host doesn't own deluxe, and many other issues that there could be over 1k being fixed in this patch alone.

Third act has too many story-related bugs. And the most popular one is the main quest - Gortash ceremony. Companions stories related to this quest are broken too. Deal with the Devil quest is broken. Druid Grove is "breakable" and will be fixed too I guess. Romances do not work properly so some people are rejected by everyone while others complaining they don't want so much sexual aggression from companions. Non-lethal damage does not work at all. Some side quests... I believe it's a compelling set of examples.

I couldn't agree with you more . I'm still trying to decide if it was worth my money or not. As of now I'm on the fence with this game.

Six years of development and a dysfunctional inventory and UI every hobby coder would have been aware of long before release. So yes, lazy and/or inapt devs indeed.
