Help the hag survivors q after hag already killed

Did anyone do the quest in this order, first killed the hags, then stumbled on hag survivor quest? Once I found them, they were standing around dead hag minion and they all thanked me once Mayrina introduced me, but the quest still remains open in my journal, at the step where they are evicted from their first place
