No means no.
BG3 is based on D&D 5 so all the races and classes are already in. They won’t break the rules to add random races that aren’t in the book.
It’s 100% no
There are like 40 different races in 5e dude - not saying any of them are coming to the game but...
all these are playable races in 5e
(not even a full list because its doesn't have Spelljammer stuff - so another 6 can be added)
Well the answer is still No
I mean they got to draw the line somewhere
I feel like maybe some Spelljammer content would be cool DLC in the future because it fits with the GIthyanki stuff but I very much doubt it'll ever happen
because its a lot of work for minimal payout - we live in a capitalist society and the cost/return ratio is just not there
They are already working on divinity 3 so zero hints about DLCs meaning we won’t get any.
Compare this with Diablo 4 where blizzard said from the start that at least 2 DLCa are planned .
In BG3 they said the opposite that they probably won’t do any DLC let alone in 6-12 months as you asked.
Even if they get priced in and do one it will be like 2 year’s minimum and that’s the best case scenario
This is a good thing in my opinion, far better than what the gaming industry has been doing over the last decade or two. Just look at paradox style games (just one example), where they launch a bland game that requires (pre-planned, so they leave stuff out of launch) dlc to get to a point where it is playable, never mind good.
What I know of Larian, they won't do DLCs. They work on a game, release it and start developing their next game. There is the possibility that there will be "Enhanced edition" or similar with some small features, but I wouldn't expect more classes or races or anything like that.
