Can automatic dice be disabled?
Hello, I don't know if it is possible but I would like to deactivate the dice rolls that the game performs automatically.
For example, when you are walking and the game detects a hidden button, all the characters automatically make a perception roll and the game tells you if you fail or win, however you do not see at any time how the dice are rolled and the result, I know you can consult it in a kind of chat that is on the right edge of the screen but I personally don't like that and it totally takes me out of the immersion of the game. I prefer it to be as realistic as possible than a D&D game like those in real life .

Thanks.

Those are passive rolls performed by the DM. How would you disable them?

I think they mean disable them popping up and letting you know if you pass or fail, I can see how it's a little immersion-breaking. Maybe a setting that only shows you something if you pass, and lets you fail without knowing you failed.

Is there not even a mod to do this?

But showing the failure means you suspect something is near but you can't figure out what it is exactly. It's basically a DM saying, you sense something nearby but can't put your finger on it. Sure some DMs will just roll and not say anything if everyone fails. But they could also let you know. The point is. If you come back later after a long rest you get a second perception check. So mark your map where you failed and come back later.

I'm not referring to that, what I mean is that when the game makes the roll as if it were the DM, you only see above your characters' heads what it says: failed or successful. What I would like is for the game to tell you that you feel something... and you roll a die to see if you pass the roll and you see the animation of the die rolling and the result. It takes longer but it's more fun this way at least for me.

Yep, that's my DM style lol.

Oh. Well...yeah, no, there's nothing like that yet. That's a pretty big change, it may take awhile for even the modders to get that sort of thing working.
