Warding Flare on Ask, not triggering

Bugbear, or some goblins, apparently it doesn't show up and give me an ask, nor does it use itself automatically. Anyone else experience warding flare not being triggered?

in BG3, it's not tied to wisdom modifier. For the OP, are you sure you didn't spend your reaction on the same turn already?

Should only trigger if you have a reaction point for that turn left (no attacks of opportunity made) AND if the mob is going to hit you, if they would miss, it's won't ask to trigger. as experiencing the same thing with my clap-back cleric.

it was a 1 vs 1 and I'm 100% positive I didn't spend it, because I spent no reactions for 2 turns. The only other reaction is oppertunity, which is also on ask and was not triggered.

works perfectly fine vs true soul gut, does not work against bugbear in gobbo camp, and I don't think bugbears are immune to blind?
