I'm stuck at Creche Y'llek
Hi! I try to keep this short, (obviously, spoilers for the Creche Y'llek section):

I talked to the Captain in Creche Y'llek after visiting the doctor (La'zel wants to report to the inquisitor) and passed a deception check with the main character to not have her figure out I have the weapon. Afterwards I can enter the region where the inquisitor is (only with La'zel, rest of the party is stuck outside). The inquisitor askes me completely out of context to place the weapon on a pedestal that tells me, it's inactive and can't be used. (I guess he knows we have the weapon from when La'zel tried to remove the larva and I failed the first persuasion check, having her memories uploaded?)
Problem is, I cannot hold the weapon with La'zel 'cause it's stuck with my main character nor do I want to give it to the inquisitor. My quest objective is still to talk to the captain to figure out more about the weapon, but there is no dialogue left except of telling her I have the weapon - she gets hostile if I tell her, but the objective still doesn't change.
I already reloaded the game from before I entered the mountain pass but it still played out like this again and I can't find out a way to progress without slaughtering the Creche (and propably La'zel leaving the party).

Can someone tell me if this is a bug or what I'm missing? Sorry, if there is already a thread about this - I searched the forum and couldn't find any. And thanks in advance! I enjoy the game but this is rather frustration. It's like a junk of dialoge with the captain and inquisitor is missing and I don't know where the quest picks up again and which desicions were logged in ):

Killing the Creche is i think expected but it doesn't mean Laezel will leave your party. You may keep Laezel even siding with Voss against Vlaakith.

Thanks a lot! I haven't had any chance to side with someone yet. I was with the doctor, exploded her machine, picked up the egg via persuation, went to the captain as La'zel suggested, passed the deception check and was told to f off and not return without the weapon. By trying I found out I could enter the inquisitors chamber with La'zel. The inquisitor didn't have dialogue apart from telling me to place the weapon. I'll try to find this Voss-guy. Maybe talking to him will help or update the quest. Honestly, thanks a bunch!

Voss isn't there. You have to tell the captain that you have the weapon.

I killed the captain. You may do it closing the door and not aggroing all the Creche.
Better to go within the inquisitor room with a full group.
As far as i remember, you canno't leave this room without a fight. Well you won't necessarily have a choice.
Before you go backwards to the Creche, there is something involving statues there, be curious, it's a very fun part ;)

I did the statue part. It was super fun! I love when a game slides in a puzzle or tricky bit - the more if it's not mandatory. Gives you the feeling you actually achieved something. Larian is pretty good in this :) Okay. Guess I'll just kill the captain and see if I can find a way for the other three characters to pass the door to the inquisitor and just right out attack the guy as punishment for not giving me dialogue. Thanks again - this was a big help!

You have to tell the captain that you have the weapon.
This was what I actually feared was the case. A pitty you cannot have La'zel see the inquisitor about the doctor-issue without giving away the weapon, or just have the captain refuse her. Instead you can't even bring the issue up although it's the reason you head to the captain in the first place.

if you read everything, these guys are well informed. They know about voss, and you. Your deception successes were them allowing you to proceed, apparently.

Prudence says trade before you trigger the place, if that is where you end up. The trader has some fairly good stuff.

This whole area feels like a giant funnel leading to the same outcome regardless of what you try to do.

There is another option instead of giving the Captain "The Weapon" regardless, there will be blood!
You can pickpocket the gem from the Captain to open the force-field

you can exit the area post guardian visit via the fast travel gate to minimize the carnage. Though upon return here the Gith are still agro regardless.
