I've spent all morning trying to roll a 25 wis check for this stupid thing on my bard and since it doesn't seem like an end is in sight soon, I will ask here instead of checking myself.

I've come across articles online saying we can use the mirror in Act 2. I found it, but could not use it. Does anyone know if we can and if so, when can we do it and what are the prerequisites? Is there even a way to go back to that region from act 3?

The one in the Gauntlet of Shar is broken. It has no use. And no, you can't go back to Act 1/2 areas.

Okay, thanks. That will save me some time. I read an article saying we can go back there after starting Act 3. Maybe they meant after doing everything in 2 and before moving on to 3, or it was nonsense.

I think the article was referring to the mirror of loss in Act 3, in the House of Grief.

Only one for getting the stat boost after the dialog checks is the mirror in the house of grief.

Keep in mind there are a lot of ChatGPT spawned "guide" websites and that rather scummy wiki by fextralife that either arent accurate on info much or just devoid of any info because they're just click bait for ad revenue. So use the main wiki and other resources to grab info from.

As far as helping your rolls, dont forget potions, spells gear etc to help boost rolls too if you havent been.
