Does Evasion even work?

I have Evasion passive active on my Rogue, but I still take full damage from atacks that hit me, same as other characters.

I thought it at least halves all damage?

Only against damage sources that you can do a dex save against, like a fireball. The feat you are thinking of may be "uncanny dodge", which is a reaction.

Yes, but it only halves the damage and it only works once per round, so if you get hit more than once...

I'm also getting this problem, be it Wyll's or an enemy's Wall of Fire or the tolltaker's money-scaling DEX-save vs slashing damage if I succeed on the DEX save I still take the half damage.
