Weird screen squish in split screen.
So I think this has to do with patch 3 as I never had this problem before. When my wife and I play split screen, during conversations all character models look a little vertically squished in. On one occasion, the game started to cut the bottom 15% of the screen with a still of a scene and squished the entire split screen into a smaller box, making everyone look chubby and weird.

Restarting the game fixed the bottom part of the screen issue but nothing seems to work to fix the weird vertical squish during conversations. This is only during conversations on one side of the split screen, when the other listens in to the conversation and it makes the game full screen again the character models all look fine again.

Is anyone else having this issue? I haven't changed any settings anywhere since the update and it just started happening.

Giving this a quick bump to see if anyone else is having this issue too or if anybody knows a possible fix.

For me, it was having "DLAA" enabled in graphics that was breaking things and causing weird squishing in split-screen; when I switched it to "TAA" it stopped doing that and was working correctly (as well as fixing a "black screen" issue that was also only happening during split-screen). Something in the latest patch may have borked anti-aliasing settings.

Edit: Others have said having it set to "None" for anti-aliasing was also causing the problem, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Awesome thanks for the replies. I’ll give those a shot tonight and report back if it helped.

Ok after testing for a while it’s definitely the DLSS doing it. Immediately gets rid of the problem when I turn if off. Using DLAA anti-aliasing also causes the issue it seems. I had no issue using FSR but I’m not a fan of how it makes the game look so I’m just playing without for now.

Hopefully these will get patched soon. Thanks for those tips!

Tyvm! Had the exact same issue and this worked.

Turned off DLSS and set FSR to Ultra Quality and anti-aliasing to TAA.
