Adamantine forge wont lower?

Have I got this correct?
I inserted the mould and mithril.
I pulled the forge lever. The hammer came down but the forge didn't lower.
Have I missed something out?

Are you using mod(s)? 99.99% game bugs out because you're using mod(s) and it is a crucial piece of information if you chose to withheld from us we can't help and/or suggest the incorrect solution.

In vanilla game, you're suppose to insert mould into the forge mould then insert mithril ore into the crucible where hammer strikes. Go to the far side from both aforementioned objects there's a third lever to switch and drop hammer and move up/down the platform.

That's what I done but the forge doesn't lower when I pull the forge lever

thats his issue, it is how to lower it lol, it wont lower Unless you fill int he slots on the forge, then hammer, then it will lower, Then you can add the lava after

add the plate you want in the square thingy, then on the hammer circle thingy in the middle add the ore, then use hammer

Make sure it's really mithral your are putting in and not adamatium.

And also make sure you click insert

As an errant thought, try reloading a save before you reached that area (most recent if you please) and try again.

Pulled lever that opens where you place the mould so placed it
Clicked the round thing in the centre it opens and I add the mithril
Pulled the forge lever. Hammer comes down but the forge doesn't lower

reload to a save right before that and try again, also are you running any mods?

This sounds like either a corrupt save/mem leak that usually remedies with a reload of a save or a mod conflict issue.

Also try shooting the level alternatively with a bow or throwing an item at it or using minion to hit the lever.

I had the same issue. Turned out I wasn’t actually inserting the items. Check the button options to ensure you have inserted.

You have to hold the button down to actually do the insert action.

can have someone go off the platform towards the lava field not on the mephit side you should be able to see controls on the lower level that you can shoot to lower the platform to the lava, you will have to jump down and take lots of damage once the platform stops moving or misty step down once the platform has descended to where the lava is
