That said, nexus remains the centralized hub for modding at this time and you are most likely to find mods that accommodate what you are seeking on the site. In time I suspect Baldur's Gate 3 will be afforded a Steam workshop where mods may also be accessible.
It is possible that there is enough community support present at this time that would justify an off-shoot site coming into existence. I would not bet on it personally, but it is a possibility.
What makes you think anyone else is going to better than Nexus?
Most of these mods are binaries and won't be able to be analysed effectively.

its got its own mod manager, ive never had a problem with mods from there
Sites like Nexus are nothing but gallery sites that post peoples work. Mainly to make money off those who visit the site via advertisements or membership.
