I am soft locked stuck in the game please help

So my party were exploring the Gauntlet of Shar, we just did the Same Self Trial and one of my party became knocked out. This character is now permanently stuck as it's impossible to fast travel or long rest in this location. I tried moving the rest of my party back to the portal and when they fast travelled my knocked out character was left behind. My last save was an annoyingly long time before this happened. Is there another way to cure being knocked out without having to long rest, or a way to pick up a knocked out character?

If all else fails, kill the downed character, then have Withers revive them at camp.
If you can't get back to kill the character (or just help them up, I guess you tried that) - no idea.
