I love Maddala and she is always with me as soon as I get level 3, ofc.
But nothing of that OP preconize hirelings.
Because you don't want to use your normal spell slots from your team - Heroes' Feast is a 6 level spell. And to cast Protection from Poison for your whole team takes a lot.
Also - if that wasn't clear, you need to remake hirelings into clerics.
By the time you can make "a legenday weapon" with a cleric hireling that worth somethng you already have legendary weapons enough to not need it. Unless you dont do anything but dialogue kill everything you need to do strictly to get to the next level.
You could replace the bow by a gun and rename the show from Arrow to Barrel.
That would be a smart idea, not a good idea though.
That said, don't really see the point. I mean, people say the game is easy on tactician, and if that's the case, they shouldn't need the buffs. And if it is fine on tactician while using this type of munchkin tactic, then just play one of the lower difficulties so you don't have to go through the buffing hassles.
But hey, if spending the time to swap characters around and such makes the game more enjoyable for them, then more power to 'em.
Yeah, I have Minsc and Laz'eal both having 2 of them :D
You know there are a crap load of videos out on Hireling camp buffs, etc., yes?
I did but the hireling just dies xD
Well it has it's uses. It's easier to switch a party member than to respec.
I got a wizard hireling with transmutation subclass with max wisdom and medicine expertise. I use him for alchemy as transmutation school can double the potions if you pass a medicine check of 15. For 90-95%, i double my production of potions. Use for those rare one like universal resistance, hill giant, cloud giant and etc. I even have an extra hag's potion in my inventory.
4 lvl 2 spell slots?
Sometimes I wonder what is going on in thought processes for people like you to say that 4 lvl 2 spell slots are not big of a deal.
