Polearm mastery.. Bugged?
Shouldn't the bonus action include all the damage modifiers from the weapon and the character? It seems to only be doing 1d4 + dex/str.. No enhancement bonus, no elemental damage from the weapon or abilities.

Yeah the 5e rules, has the entire enchant and other additions added to the bonus attack. I don't know why it would be different in BG3. The devs of 5e themselves, clarified on this in a tweet.

When attacking with a glaive, halberd, quarterstaff, or spear, you can use a bonus action to attack with the butt of your weapon and deal 1~4 Bludgeoning damage.

It adds your str modifier to the damage and attack roll, in some cases it could be dex or ur spell casting modifier. The blunt end is not going to have the same effect in some cases. Just like in actual dnd. It is considered a weapon attack so a spell that added damage to your weapon attacks could work but the actual weapon's own elemental effects might not work depending on the logic, like the blade is on fire technically, but that possibly could be up to your dm and i think weapon enhancements do work so +1-+3 should still count. However that doesnt mean its programmed right so it could be jacked unless u explain what stuff your missing in detail its not easy to tell. I also could just be wrong on some details as well

Thats not actually true, like I said, in a tweet the dev clarified that it absolutely does add the weapon enchants.. Most gliaves and halberds have a spear tipped end further more.

okay which part was not ture? the part where i said " i think weapon enhancements do work so +1-+3 should still count." or " but the actual weapon's own elemental effects might not work depending on the logic, like the blade is on fire technically, but that possibly could be up to your dm"

Either bugged or implemented poorly. Go GWM instead. TWF still isn't especially viable since the game has so many bonus actions.

IT also should include the elemental damage.. The weapon it self is enchanted.. Not just the blade, (halberds and glaives for instance have spear ends on the other sides).. This wouldn't make sense seeing as a quarterstaff, which it's entire construction is the weapon, can be enchanted... The only thing it's suppose to do is turn the damage die from the 1d10/1d8/1d6 the weapon is, to a 1d4.. It should get all the other benefits per 5e ruling. Seeing as BG3 made things more powerful than the table top in most areas, this is kind of head scratching they would nerf this so hard.
