comes out - attacks the creatures around you
then he comes out the final time when you find his "layer" spot
Anyway, you dont need to "wait find his spot", just use CC on it with the last character turn before its turn.
(should've been a simple plan to hatch)
I don't play D&D, but is D&D like this? If so, I don't think I'd like D&D.
There has been a lot of things I haven't understood about this game, but as far as I can tell if you lose you just reload.
Am I missing something? I think in D&D isn't the DM supposed to do stuff to keep the campaign going?
Also, I did win the fight, this just felt dumb 🤷♂️
i died to one boss with a giant hammer, that you will soon encounter.
And i have died fighting a secret dragon boss.
And thats all, no more have i ever lost an encounter for the rest of the game.
And all of this on the hardest difficulty.
So enjoy the small things that give you a challenge, soon you will become so strong (at lvl 12) that you will one shot everything. (no reloads)
You can for example use your IQ, and send 1 character ahead, triggering the creature to come out of ground, and then use other 3 characters to join the fight.
Use your brain, and enjoy your time, this is a story game, not a skill based game like Elden Ring.

I killed it on the second go round. o.O
The first time he didn't attack me, I just seen him tufting up the dirt and that was that. Second time it attacked, I got it to half health, it dug under the dirt and healed for 25% health. Third time I came across it I killed it and looted it. It was never seen again.
Honestly, it wasn't that tough. Just had to watch out for the AoE attack it does that can knock your characters back. It's clearly supposed to be a mini-boss but it didn't really feel that way at all...
