How to romance Shadowheart

Like just exist and you can romance her? If you’re that far you went WAY past your opportunity. Did you just not talk to her ever in camp?

Step 1 will be knowing that Shadowheart is in fact a she, not a dude. Outside that, shouldnt be hard, had her romanced before I left Act 1 so not sure what has taken you so long to where you are in Act 3 and still haven't succeeded

I literally romanced Baezel, then picked up Shadowheart later without even trying. You get a dialog option like “I can’t help but feel like we missed something”

With nothing to go on, I'm not sure how to help you if you're already in Act 3.

I was able to romance her very easily, I just needed to get through several early/Act 1 camp rests to go through her dialogue and gain approval. I simply rejected everyone else. Astarion wants to bang? No thanks, bud. Gale wants to googoo eyes at you during some magical training? No thanks, bro.

She rejected Shar and we 'freed' her parents so they can go be moon motes with Selune.

For my very first playthrough, she was the only one I focused for romancing. Finished the game without ever sleeping with her, even though most if not all choices of mine were approved by her.

I went back to old save as far as start of act II and the lines were basically the same, making me believe something bugged at some point and I simply lost a lot of immersion in my first run.

Not saying something might've happened with yours as well, but yeah...

I'm reposting my comment from a similar thread and leaving it here, because it seems relevant. Basically, it comes down to a lot of people not doing enough long rests, because most of her romance scenes take place during long rests.

Seriously, Shadowheart will sleep with you, and even have a foursome (or even an orgy) in the brothel. She's even cool with you sleeping with Halsin, and if you sleep with Mizora (a literal fiend) she just goes "now you know I'm the better lay" and continues the relationship with you. As long as you've done her earlier romance scenes and progressed past the Temple of Shar in her quest line, as well as keep a high favorability with her (you can literally spam "pet Scratch" to grind those points up if needed), she'll sleep with you.

All you have to do is talk to Shadowheart and rest in your camp more often and she'll eventually go "hey, wanna smash?" After that, she's totally cool with a foursome in the brothel. To have the orgy though, you need to do the following: after you sleep with her, chat with Halsin about his past lovers, and he'll be like "I want you, but you're with her, so... does she get jealous?" Then talk to Shadowheart and she'll say she's cool with it, so then you can go back to Halsin and bang. After you've done that have both of them in your party when you go to the brothel and then all of you will bang... in darkness lol.

tl;dr: take more long rests and you'll get laid. Shadowheart only wants your first time together to be one-on-one, after that she's cool with pretty much everything.

I believe this was my mistake as well. Before starting, I was told that there are some time-sensitive events in the game, and so I was trying to really push how much content I cover before fully resting.
