Does the full BG3 run on Intel Macs or not?

EA was running fine on Intel Macs; yet for the final version, M1 Macs are shown as a precondition.
On the other hand, it seems like certain people on Intel are still able to (unofficially) run it fine.
Can ANYONE confirm?

I have a 2019 27" imac i7 with 4gb vram und 32 GB RAM and IT would be really disappointing since I both the game in EA, when the system requirements included Intel macs.

If my memory serves me well that's a really weak old Radeon graphics card designed for laptops that was in that model iMac and with only 4GB of VRAM that's going to struggle hard if it's even possible at all.

Seem to recall reading somewhere that non M1 and above couldn't run split screen and some other restrictions. I'm early into the game, haven't seen any issues so far.

Game runs fine in Full HD, not sure about Act 2 or 3 tho.

Runs fine here on 2017 iMac Pro32GB RAM 8GB card. Unfortunately whatever I do there is absolutely no audio.

OK, runs with just the inbuilt speakers rather than the aggegate device I was using before for sound

Currently in early chapter 3. It has been running well, but i have had a couple of crashes, when loading. Chapter 1 and 2 was averaging 45-60 fps. Chapter 3 has seen a drop to 30-45 fps, with spikes in the 50s. However, this hasn't really affected play-ability at all, and it still seems very fluid.

I also play this on an M1 MB Air 16GB. This Intel kicks that Air's heinie from here to Baldur's Gate, but it's still fun on the air even with no shadows. This is just a very well built game.
