SPOILER, Dark Urge And Isobel

i got the mission to kill isobel because of the dark urge, but if i kill her everyone in the inn turn into shadows, is there a way to save everyone and kill he after ? i will probaly try to free nightsong, kill ketheric thorm, and then kill her but i not sure if the mission will still be avaible if i do everything else first

if the mission dissapear after some time i will just follow the dark urge =D that what this playthrough is all about anyway lol

I did DU as well as first. It made me realise there's many ways to play DU. You can be an evil fanatic murderer, a guy who used to be evil but after memory loss, becomes a new person, or a guy who knows what he used to be like, but the events turned him. There's really quite many things you can make up for yourself and play towards that.

I am planning to make a paladin and fight the "urge" to be a protector of the weak and justice. I think the struggle to stay sane and faithful as DU is interesting and the game is giving tools.

Also in Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 you also played as "Dark Urge" but there it was something more of the good guy becomming evil where here its VERY bad guy beccoming a hero.
Seriously I ecourge everyone to blindly play as Dark Urge because his story is absolutly amazing. As a fan of older games i cant imagine myself not playing as other origin because the Durge origin not only is well written but also impacts a main plot of the game greatly.

When I was walking into moonrise the butler popped out saying how she was alone.

I sent my bard/wizard back and after casting a greater invisiblity from a scroll assasinated her. (if you do it without invisibility the harpers and fists go aggro back at the tower it seems)

After killing here there was the shadow tendrils and cursed harpers to fight. which was someone challenging since I went alone.

I summoned an elemental from a scroll and a familiar after casting haste, then proceeded to fireball/eldritch blast them down (i have spell sniper for EB) little bit of kiting and I ended up popping a universal protection elixir just to make sure i didnt randomly go down but not super hard, but slightly challenging like i said because I was fighting like 8 enemies alone with only my bard mc (githyanki dark urge lore bard 6 wizard 2) on tactician.


afterwards I just used the angelic reprieve potion to restore all my spellslots.

this is also my 3rd playthrough and first time I did dark urge. I also got minthara this playthrough

Just simply do the mission after finishing the gaunlet of shar. The harpers moves to the moonrise towers and isobel will be left alone.

Mountains of bodies, maggot ridden corpses, these are just some of the dark urges favorite things.

The butler even states that part of the reason last light was chosen is so you kill everyone since the urge use to like scores of dead bodies, you can resist and you get two options down the road to get the slayer form anyhow

Killing your lover when the butler shows again or waiting till act 3

The killing of your lover is not even giving into the urge, the butler makes it clear its all you

"Resist. wake him/her up" Its a saving throw you do when you are about to snap and kill your lover in act 2 if you ressisted killing Isobel.
