SPOILER, Dark Urge And Isobel
i got the mission to kill isobel because of the dark urge, but if i kill her everyone in the inn turn into shadows, is there a way to save everyone and kill he after ? i will probaly try to free nightsong, kill ketheric thorm, and then kill her but i not sure if the mission will still be avaible if i do everything else first

if the mission dissapear after some time i will just follow the dark urge =D that what this playthrough is all about anyway lol

what no, why would that even be an option? You get multiple hints that killing her = Last Light safety goes bye bye

I mean I trying to save everyone and still kill her after but I don’t think it’s possible lol

Yes, you can after triggering the assault on the Moonrise Towers.
Also, resisting the Dark Urge is a valid option.

I only an have idea here, that I never tested out so :p

you can try to kill her after she and everyone moves to the castle. Then somehow lure her into a place where none will notice her dying. My idea here is to use the catform and meow her into the right place

Also: Jehaira (or however she was spelled :p) will survive. You need to pass a charisma check though

You can become "slayer" without killing Isobel too. Unless you really don't like her in here.

Yeah, I love to play ambivalent characters too, I guess I serve the god of betrayal. Made everyone at druid grove happy and then killed everyone.

Alas, it is not only Isobel but also the village is part of the sacrifice to appease Bhaal. There is a beauty on killing hope, not only Isobel, but also the persistent and beautiful light of the village surrounded by terrible shadows.

And the beauty of gaslighting Jaheira on joining the party later... delicious!

But yeah, It could be better, if the devs made viable several playing decisions and nuances with the Dark Urge. But Bhaal is a simple god, it only demands murder, not betrayal.

The best part of killing Isobel in Dark Urge is that you can kill off the town and still recruit Jaheira. Hell, you can even kill [REDACTED] and keep her.

Silly druid still thinks my oathbreaker is a good guy. lol

In my Dark Urge play I got Isobel kidnapped before I was even asked to kill her and the plot jumped to "So you refused to kill Isobel..." You can still finish the dark urge plotline, as a monster, but it'll mean losing someone else from your party.

You can still kill Isobel at the point where everyone has moved into the Moonrise Tower, and you go to camp, and simply kill Isobel there. Then you use invisibility, and the angel woman will give up after two turns. Then you go to sleep, and get the scene with the butler and when you wake up, the angel woman won't be hostile.

I only tested it to this point, so I don't know how things turn out this way in act 3. What I can tell, is that this way you only kill Isobel and progress to act 3.

why would you even care about civilians while playing dark urge

my durge play i saved isobel the first time around instead of getting her kidnapped. i went about and did a few of the side things around the zone then onto moonrise after a long rest where i got the quest from the butler. in moonrise i briefly spoke to ketheric, traded with things there etc.
went back to the inn and killed isobel with my party in her room, cutscene triggers and shes getting taken away by a flying thing.. strange but ok.. in that same instant me and my party and jahierah are outside the front of the inn surprised and whatnot.

i get a few dialog options. fail the deception one and instead of being an enemy we now fight along side the turned Inn, until everyone else is dead anyway. she seems to mega heal herself at least once if she *dies* in this fight.
afterwards she has a bit to say to you and you have a bit to say to her. i think i made her cry with the option i chose. :(

isobels body was not at the inn, the cutscene seemed weird but it didnt bug cause she was waiting back at moonrise with the second part of ketherics fight.

shart killed nightsong so there was no dame
*i had essentially killed everyone along the way, the only ones that i saved was the underdark gnomes lol. they died instantly from the curse. id assume that pretty much every npc that isnt half decent at something will just turn to ash*

I wonder what its like if you do the whole shar thing, break the Inns protection that way and cause everyone to turn would it still count as you killing isobel without directly killing her.

dark urge as first playthrough is not really a good choice

Killing her = everyone is dead and you get Slayer form
Not killing her = You started your redemption arc and your character is beccoming good
If you are planning to be a good Dark Urge dont kill her and if you romance someone there will be a really good scene later on at the camp just make sure you PASS the wisdom check.

No its the best choice because it was the cannon origin. Dark Urge is not a evil playtrough origin. Its a playthrough for people who played older Baldurs Gate games and want to play as character that tries to become good, the game even encourages you to ressist your urges.
