Hirelings and the Magic Mirror

We all know the hirelings are all randomly generated, I mean the first one is a female with huge knockers and a bikie beard. So why then can we not use them at the magic mirror?

Aren't they really just another Tav?

No, they are not randomly generated. They were made without care(mostly), as technically the one you reference is an old canon reference to female dwarves of DnD. The first one is more an unspoken nod to old school DnD. As for them being Tav - technically, also not true. Their ID's are different than Tav.

No, they should NOT be usable with the Magic Mirror. What SHOULD have happened, was the ability to make your own Hireling. Not have preselected/predesigned choices. With the character creator, and the backgrounds they have written up, they literally could have had a data base of 100+ backgrounds related, ready to go, as part of their design. (Not that anyone reads those when hiring said lings.)

As a side note, the Magic Mirror, should have been an usable item in Tav's inventory similar to the Prism. Since it only affects them, it stands to reason, only THEY have the item. With the conditional caveat that it can only be used in camp, like the bell you can get in the Gauntlet only being usable in said location. Would require less futzing around.

Now... can we please let this inane topic rest? My opinion will never be heard, just as yours will not be either. It is what it is. Either install a mod, or quit complaining.

Yes, they are hideous, I miss the point of having this magic mirror if it's main use would be to fix hirelings.

Yeah they could add custom hireling option. just like your custom char. After all you can already gather even full party of custom chars using MP, no reason not to make it a normal feature without going through bunch of hoops.

As for the bikie... what is that?

It's a dwarf looking female with a long beard. Her boobs are 10x the size of Sazza's head.

A bikie is a dude that rides a motorcycle in a club. Hope that helps.

I was really disappointed to learn hirelings weren't fully customized on creation. I thought that was the whole point of them.
